The staff were very accommodating. We had just finished a cross-country road trip and were appalled at the price we had to pay for hotels / motels in other provinces given the poor quality rooms and cleanliness. I'm not sure if Edmonton is unique, but we were relieved to find a motel that was clean, in good repair, and didn't charge an arm and a leg.
The free continental breakfast was fairly limited - kind of like raiding a university room-mates cupboards.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is dated but clean. Included a continental breakfast of toast or cereal, fruit and coffee. For the price we paid, you couldn't get a better deal in the city.
If I had to make a complaint, it would be that the pillow was too high and hard. but my husbands was fine.

1) The room appeared to be under renovation as they said when I signed in . 2) Dreary looking room witch was used for storing carpet which they removed after I entered. 3) Mouse traps were in plain view in the room and on property. 4) Very low class clientelle. 5) Room door was dificult to close and none working safety lock.

washroom stunk, smelled of piss around toilet, so bad i had to sprinkle scope mouth wash to try and hide the smell. The mattresses are old and uncomfortable, that's putting it mildly. They have a dead bolt on door but does not work because door frame is wrong for the door installed

The room therostat worked the "wrong" way. When you turned it down the temperature went up and vice versa. I tad tricky to figure out at 2am!

Spotlessly clean, recently renovated. Fridge and microwave in room.
The rooms were very hot, and the air conditioning very noisy. Although there was an in-room coffee maker, no coffee/tea was provided. No ironing board, iron or hair dryer.

Breakfast was included..... There were cornflakes, but no milk. There was one apple and 2 bananas for fruit for everybody. Ended up buying breakfast for all 5 days. Very poor. Perfumized smell in the room. Like they are hiding a skunk under the bed.

The room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms we have had in the past 2 years.
The room had a coffe maker but no complimentary coffee etc. When asked the fromt desk said they do not provide coffee. Why have a coffee maker in a room and not have coffee with it? Gives the impression of being "cheep!"

We were very pleased with our stay at the Motor Inn. They were very accommodating and the rooms, although older, were well appointed. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functional. The exterior had us wondering if we had made the right choice, but we were pleasantly surprised when we entered the room.
The breakfast area was a bit cramped and could use a bit more variety.

Rooms were extremely dirty and old. Fridge was so loud you could barely sleep. Place was disgusting. Nothing in the room, not even an alarm clock. Would never stay here again!

Was most impressed with the manager. Was courteous and listened to our concerns and acted promptly. Was a pleasure dealing with him.
Was good value for the money.
